The SIRIO single-phase equaliser is an electronic device that offers the ability to regulate the rms value of a sinusoidal voltage through the control of two diodes connected in antiparallel.
The partialiser has several applications, including:
• Voltage regulator in temperature regulation, to adjust the voltage supplied to heating or cooling devices, allowing precise temperature management in environments such as greenhouses, laboratories or air conditioning systems.
• Regulator for resistive loads, to control and regulate the supply of resistive loads such as heating elements, providing a gradual variation of voltage according to specific requirements.
• Primary control for transformers, allowing the input voltage to be varied in a precise and controlled manner.
• Soft-start for high-power transformers, allowing the initial voltage to be gradually reduced to avoid overloads and current peaks.
Thanks to its ability to regulate the sinusoidal voltage, the SIRIO single-phase equaliser offers versatile solutions for different applications, helping to optimise the operation and protection of electrical devices and systems.
